Michigan LCV endorses Lt. Governor Garlin Gilchrist for Secretary of State

Lansing, MI — The Michigan League of Conservation Voters (Michigan LCV) today announced its endorsement of Lt. Governor Garlin Gilchrist for secretary of state. 

“Throughout his two terms as Lieutenant Governor, Garlin Gilchrist has focused on solving problems and creating opportunities for Michiganders. He has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to ensuring every eligible Michigan voter can make their voice heard and every vote is counted,” said Lisa Wozniak, president and CEO of Michigan LCV. “At a time when voting rights and democratic institutions are under attack at the federal, state, and local levels, Garlin Gilchrist is the leader we can trust to protect the voting rights Michiganders have fought so hard to secure and continue building a more prosperous and sustainable future and an accessible, vibrant democracy for all Michiganders.” 

Michigan LCV’s endorsements are awarded to candidates who demonstrate a strong commitment to protecting the environment, the health of Michigan’s communities, and our democracy. Lt. Gov.
