Great Lakes Conference is in Buffalo

This year, the sixth annual Great Lakes Restoration Conference is happening in Buffalo, New York, on Sept. 22-24.

The Healing Our Waters-Great Lakes Coalition is inviting everyone to join in.

A full agenda is planned with field trips and presentations focused around efforts to protect and restore the lakes, The federal government is in the midst of a multi-year, multi-million dollar Great Lakes Restoration Initiative.

Speakers on a draft agenda include Lisa Jackson, director of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. You can get involved by registering online. The registration fee is $120.
