Members Show Support at Michigan LCV Fundraiser

On Saturday night, immediately following a remarkable Michigan Football victory, Michigan LCV held a fundraiser at Ann Arbor's Downtown Home and Garden. The event was a big success and we would like to particularly thank our remarkable board members who made it possible.

The highlight of the event, other than the Zingerman's catering and the generous donation of Arbor Brewing Company beer, were the remarks given by our Executive Director, Lisa Wozniak.

Lisa spoke on the importance of Michigan LCV's mission: To give voice to longstanding conservation values in a state capitol where politics is so often the only language spoken. Given the inescapable remembrance of 9/11 that day, she reminded the nearly 100 attendees that our work is that of creating a better world for the next generation. It is about improving the quality of life in our communities and freeing the interests of our nation from the oil that ties us to the same countries that harbored those who attacked us.

As we here at Michigan LCV continue our work through this election season and beyond, we hope to see you at future events, as well. If you were unable to attend the fundraiser, but would still consider a contribution, please visit our donation page.

Regardless of whether we next connect with you at a fundraiser, an open house, or simply a visit to our website, we are always eager to speak with you. Please be in touch anytime and thank you again for your support.
