You’re Invited, Michigan: To Keep Your Home Safe and Green
We're sponsoring a Home Safe Home Party with the Ecology Center this Saturday, Sept. 18, from 10 a.m. to noon in Kalamazoo. The free event will highlight ways your family can keep your home healthy and environmentally friendly.
Activities will be hands-on, fun, and, of course, informative. If you've ever wondered how a non-toxic cleaning product is made, join us, and make your own homemade and safe cleaning solution.
We also will be testing children's toys and products for toxics, like lead and cadmium, so bring in your children’s toys and our experts will test them.
If you're in or near the area, plan to attend the Home Safe Home Party with us. The party will take place at the Kalamazoo Community College Arcadia Commons Campus, Anna Whitten Hall, Room 128, 202 North Rose St. If you have any questions, contact Jennifer Canvasser at the Ecology Center, jennifer@ecocenter.org, or visit MNCEH.org.
Remember, the event is free and open to the public, so bring friends.
