Elections

Michigan LCV has two Political Action Committees (PAC) -- Michigan LCV PAC and Conservation Voters of Michigan PAC. Both PACs participate in elections to create pro-environmental legislative, judicial, and executive bodies of government.

Michigan LCV PAC is a connected political committee filed under Michigan Election law. Michigan LCV PAC makes direct or in-kind contributions to candidates and operates independent expenditure campaigns advocating the election or defeat of candidates. Michigan LCV PAC may make gifts of up to $5,000 to state Representatives, up to $10,000 to state Senators, and up to $34,000 to statewide officeholders. Independent expenditure campaigns communicate with the general electorate.
