We’ll gather for a picnic dinner and write postcards to fellow Michigan LCV members\, encouraging them to vote and protect our environment in the upcoming election. \nWhether you’re a longtime volunteer or brand new to MLCV\, this is a great opportunity to meet like-minded people\, enjoy the outdoors\, and take action for a healthier\, more sustainable future. \nBring a lawn chair or blanket if you’d like\, and we’ll provide the food\, postcards\, and supplies. \nTogether\, we can help turn out voters and protect Michigan’s environment\, one postcard at a time!

SUMMARY:Kalamazoo Family Social & Postcard Party!
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a casual gathering to build community\, learn about electing environmental champions this year\, and help us write postcards! \nThis month\, we will be gathering over snacks and pizza to get to know each other while we learn about the upcoming election and how to make a difference. Building community is a critical part of effective movements – people who know each other care about each other and therefore will work to protect each other! As we gather\, there will be food\, refreshments\, and updates from Michigan LCV staff including invitations to future events. There will also be an opportunity to write postcards to Michigan LCV members in targeted areas where there are important primary races to remind them to vote.
