Curious about voting this year? \nJoin Michigan LCV Education Fund’s Democracy For All team on Friday\, Aug. 14\, from 3-6 p.m. for a free I.D. clinic at the Brightmoor Farmers Market and Resource Fair in Detroit in partnership with the Michigan Secretary of State’s office! \nWe’ll also have important information and voting resources\, as well as a voter education quiz game with fun prizes. The Eastern Market mobile market produce van will be on site from 3-5 p.m.\, and Brightmoor Artisans vendors and community resource booths will be featured until 6 p.m. \nTo receive a new\, complimentary I.D.\, please remember the following: If you need a new Real or Enhanced I.D. or Driver’s License\, you must provide a certified copy of your birth certificate (cannot be a photocopy) and any name change documents\, OR a valid passport. \nIf you have never had a Michigan I.D. before\, you must provide a certified copy of your birth certificate (cannot be a photocopy) OR a valid passport\, any name change documents\, a Social Security card\, an identity document\, and two items showing name and address. \nDon’t miss this opportunity to get a new\, free I.D. and learn more about voting this year!
