DESCRIPTION:Make plans to join us on Wednesday\, August 19\, 2026 4 – 5:30 p.m. at the Cherry Republic Public House in Glen Arbor for Michigan Matters: A Mixer with the Michigan League of Conservation Voters\, an informal gathering at Cherry Republic to connect with like-minded folks with shared concerns for the state of democracy nationwide\, as well as Michigan-specific issues like protection of our Great Lakes\, our ambitious clean energy goals\, and the healthy air and water upon which we all depend\, in Michigan and everywhere. \nAcross the country\, environmental protections are being gutted\, clean energy incentives are being rolled back\, and regulations that safeguard our water are under attack. Here in Michigan\, Line 5 continues to put the Great Lakes — and our future — at risk. At times like these\, it’s more important than ever to show up\, speak out\, and support the work of those fighting on the front lines.
