DESCRIPTION:The Annual Gathering for LGBT+ Issues brings together advocates\, community leaders\, and the public to engage in meaningful dialogue around the issues impacting LGBT+ individuals. Attendees will hear updates from national social justice and equality organizations\, participate in resource-rich workshops\, and contribute their perspectives through the interactive “Open Space” process. This year’s event will also feature a Mayoral Candidate Forum\, providing campaigns a platform to speak directly to Detroit’s LGBT+ community about the issues that matter most. Special presentations will be delivered by Gilead Sciences and Promote the Vote. \nRefreshments and childcare will be provided. Bring a family member or friend!
