And we’ll show you two ways to help. Together, we can be a voice for change and protect Michigan’s land, air, water, public health, and democracy.
Born to a Michigan raised couple serving military duty in Ohio, Cassandra Griffen was raised in the Tampa Bay region of Florida. As young as 13, she began participating in political volunteering, writing letters to legislators, calling voters and protesting for progressive causes. Having moved to Michigan during 2020 and resonating with the passion of local activism, she shifted her political activism toward organization during 2024.
Outside of political action, Cassandra is a passionate storyteller, enjoying the craft and artistry of many mediums. She is a self taught illustrator, working in genre fiction, collaborative storytelling, and board games. She loves time spent outdoors, hiking with friends along the Great Lakes. When at home, she takes great pride in her southern and cajun cooking.
