As Development Director, Lee leads our talented and passionate fundraising team, guiding our various programs for modest, intermediate and major gifts. Lee shares a deep love of and commitment to the natural beauty of the Great Lakes region and believes in the power of community engagement to protect our water, air, land and voting rights.
Lee comes to Michigan LCV after 18 years at the Michigan Theater in Ann Arbor, where he led annual fundraising efforts, as well as a major capital campaign to purchase and renovate the State Theater. Previously, Lee promoted jazz, blues and rock concerts across Michigan and co-produced the Ann Arbor Blues & Jazz Festival from 1992-2000. Lee holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan and an MBA from the UM Ross School of Business. He’s also a proud member of the Wolfpack.
Lee and his wife live in Scio Township. Their son, Max, works in the film industry in Los Angeles.
