Mariah Williford

Mariah joined Michigan LCV in 2026 as Digital Communications Manager, where she manages digital communications across both Michigan LCV and the Michigan LCV Education Fund. Handling graphic design, social media strategy, and the rapid-response content that shows up when it counts. She’s driven by the belief that the leaders we elect shape what happens to Michigan’s land and water, and that meeting people where they are is how you build the will to protect it. Growing up in Detroit, her connection to Michigan’s landscape was shaped by the city and the water that defines it—the Great Lakes state has always been home. Before Michigan LCV, Mariah spent the last 8 years as a brand marketing and communications leader, helping organizations turn complexity into connection and find clarity in their voice. Her work spans civic engagement, public research, real estate, and women’s leadership and culture. She is a Wayne State University graduate with a degree in Communications & New Media. In her spare time, Mariah enjoys being outside in nature with her dog, spending time with friends, and traveling.
