The Energy Bills Relief Act was just introduced in Congress – a bold plan to tackle the current energy affordability crisis head-on by ensuring Americans can access affordable, reliable, and clean energy without sacrificing our communities or environment. 

Right now, families in Michigan and across the country are facing skyrocketing energy bills and increasingly frequent power outages that drag on for days, even weeks. Meanwhile, corporations and big utility companies continue to profit from outdated policies that incentivize investments in fossil fuels but fail to protect working families and small businesses. 

The Energy Bills Relief Act will:

• Develop cheap energy responsibly on public land & waters

• Promote local collaboration for successful deployment
