Tell the MPSC: No DTE Rate Hike

DTE Energy is once again asking state regulators to approve a $574 million rate increase request – the utility company’s fourth rate increase request in the past five years, and its second-highest request ever.

In 2024, DTE Energy’s CEO made more than $12 million, a $2 million increase from 2023. And investor reports show DTE Energy’s CEO and executives receive bonuses based on how much they are able to raise our rates.

What are we left with? The highest costs for energy in the Midwest and some of the worst reliability in the country.

We shouldn’t be forced to pay more for our energy just so CEOs and executives can get big bonuses. We already pay the highest energy costs in the Midwest with some of the worst reliability in the country.

Send a message to the Michigan Public Service Commission urging them to reject DTE’s rate increase request and protect Michigan ratepayers →
