Michigan LCV hosts 11th Annual Gala, “Our Clean Energy Future”

DETROIT. – The Michigan League of Conservation Voters’ 11th Annual Gala is taking place Oct. 13th at the Gem Theater in Detroit. Each year, Michigan LCV hosts its annual gala to honor and celebrate leaders who are taking action to protect our air, land and water and strive for a just and equitable future. This year’s theme is “Our Clean Energy Future” to recognize the need to take action on climate change by transitioning to 100% clean energy.

This year’s honorees will be headlined by U.S. Senator Debbie Stabenow, who will be recognized with a Lifetime Achievement Award for her illustrious career defending our water and representing the interests of all Michiganders. Other honorees are Our Next Energy, who will receive the Business of the Year award and 482 Forward, who will receive the Advocate of the Year Award. 

This year’s top business sponsors include Cherry Republic and the Wolfpack at the Superior level and Golden Limousine International at the Huron Level.
