The Annual Gathering for LGBT+ Issues brings together advocates, community leaders, and the public to engage in meaningful dialogue around the issues impacting LGBT+ individuals. Attendees will hear updates from national social justice and equality organizations, participate in resource-rich workshops, and contribute their perspectives through the interactive “Open Space” process. This year’s event will also feature a Mayoral Candidate Forum, providing campaigns a platform to speak directly to Detroit’s LGBT+ community about the issues that matter most. Special presentations will be delivered by Gilead Sciences and Promote the Vote.
