And we’ll show you two ways to help. Together, we can be a voice for change and protect Michigan’s land, air, water, public health, and democracy.
Hope Sherwood is the Southeast Michigan Regional Organizer for Oakland County on the Advocacy & Outreach team at the Michigan League of Conservation Voters. Hope graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Studies and Sustainability.
Prior to joining MLCV, Hope conducted community-engaged research focused on sustainability and safe practices within the exotic pet trade. She later shifted her research to explore community perceptions of various energy sources, with a particular emphasis on renewable energy. Hope was first introduced to MLCV through the Our Water Activist program, which eventually led to her transition into a full-time organizing role.
Hope is especially passionate about addressing PFAS contamination and advancing clean, renewable energy and sustainable transportation. She is excited to continue building relationships across Southeast Michigan and working with communities to create a more sustainable and equitable future.
