Key Information
SB 302 and 303 will expand existing Michigan’s Commercial Property Assessed Clean Energy (CPACE) statute, which currently funds energy efficiency, water conservation, and clean energy projects projects at commercial properties, to include climate resiliency projects and critical water upgrades. The bills also expand the current commercial PACE statute to include multi-family apartment buildings, making energy efficiency and its environmental benefits more available to Michiganders.
