And we’ll show you two ways to help. Together, we can be a voice for change and protect Michigan’s land, air, water, public health, and democracy.
Join Michigan LCV and our partners for a Black History Month Environmental Justice Panel Discussion in Grand Rapids to bring attention to issues in environmental justice and equity in our community.
This will be a collaborative educational event that brings together key stakeholders, community leaders, and citizens to discuss the intersection of Black history and environmental justice. It aims to highlight the ongoing efforts, challenges, and solutions for achieving environmental justice and equity in Grand Rapids and across Michigan.
We know that underserved communities have historically and continue to bear the brunt of environmental injustices including lead contamination, proximity to polluting industries, less access to green spaces, and so much more.
Networking and Q&A session to follow the panel discussion. Light refreshments will be served.
Co-hosted by NAACP Grand Rapids and West Michigan Environmental Action Council (WMEAC).
